Getting into college is one thing. Knowing how to navigate life once you get there is another.

The College Ready™ Preview Playbook is a self-guided, interactive college-life simulation that gives students a glimpse into the decisions, tradeoffs, and unexpected moments that can shape the college experience.

Students step into the life of Taylor Morgan, a fictional college freshman, and navigate one compressed week of realistic college situations. An unexpected course expense. A social invitation. A disappointing grade. An opportunity to earn extra money. A networking event. Competing priorities. A deadline that suddenly feels a lot closer than it did on Monday.

There are no perfect answers. Instead, students are challenged to pause, assess, explore, decide, and respond—then reflect on what their choices reveal about their readiness for college life.

Throughout the experience, students practice five essential College Ready™ skills:

PLAN — Build a strategy for priorities and goals.

DECIDE — Make informed choices and weigh tradeoffs.

NAVIGATE — Identify options, resources, and next steps.

ADVOCATE — Ask questions and use their voice.

RECOVER — Respond when things don’t go according to plan.

After completing the week, students receive access to the companion Decision & Consequence Guide™, where they can explore possible outcomes, recovery moves, and the lessons behind each scenario.

The Preview Playbook isn't an admissions guide, test-prep workbook, or another checklist of what to bring to college. It's an opportunity to experience the kinds of decisions students may face before those decisions affect real grades, real money, real relationships, and real opportunities.

One week. Real choices. Lasting insights.
